GRAS has received much interest from local wineries and distributors about seeking alternative bottling and/or wine cask solutions. Certain wines 'by the Glass' by local wineries may be candidates for partnering in experimental programs.
For all the centuries that wine has been stored and distributed and served... amphoras, jugs, casks. We must look to models that don't rely on the 'disposable' bottle culture.
GRAS AIMS:
• pursue efficient ways to distribute local 'by the glass' wines
• research cask and bladder solutions
• consider reuse of bottles by local wineries
